Need a logo, an ad, brochure or maybe a package designed?
I find design to be one of the most interesting services I offer since it embodies such a wide range of my skills. Although illustration is my forte, my design work has won prestigious awards and accounted for a large portion of my income over the years. In fact, I credit my illustration background for giving me a unique perspective on design. Instead of being limited by clip-art and stock photography as some designers are, I can draw and shoot my way to the right solution.
One example of this was a job requirement to create a photo-realistic image of a grandmother dressed as Whistler’s Mother wrestling an alligator. Being a Disney project, likeness approval was needed for the grandmother. My solution involved multiple photographs including one of my recently deceased grandmother. Of course a little drawing and a lot of Photoshop was involved and the project aired as planned. Basically, if you can imagine it, I can create it.
I have designed Marketing Materials for all kinds of business. Everything from Logos, Packaging Design, Brochures and Print Ads for a variety of other types of businesses. Dog Food, Long Term Care Insurance, Pet Probiotics, toys to Popsicles any company can benefit from my skills.
Diversity and speed are my specialties making me a favorite in the Entertainment Industries for over 25 years. I have worked in the Music Industry having illustrated and designed over 100 record album covers including everything from Frank Sinatra - The Radio Years to NWA - Straight Outta Compton and has three gold and three platinum albums. My work has even been displayed in the Smithsonian Institution (The California Raisins exhibit, Priority Records). I am a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS, the Grammy people). I have worked on over 25 Television shows. Including, Disney's Hannah Montana and Warner Bros. The Closer. I have worked on both national print ad campaigns and in production for a handful of full length Feature Films as well. Movie's include, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park and The Perfect Game.
